Skinny Swaps and Substitutes for Guilt Free Desserts!

If you know me, you know I’m all about finding ways to “have your cake and eat it too“, but doing so in a way that let’s you maximize the best of every aspect in your world. Life must be truly lived and enjoyed to the fullest, and to do that you have to strike the right balance between being fit and healthy (which in turn makes you feel good, confident and happy), and indulging and enjoying life’s pleasures.

Being too restrictive is no way to live.

One of my missions with the Fit, Strong and Sexy community and program is to show women how to attain that sought after balance of being fit, strong, and sexy while also enjoying life. Contrary to popular belief, you can have it all (well almost).

Let me show you how!

When it comes to desserts, I have a huge weakness for baked goods. The problem with a lot of baking, even the so called “healthy, whole ingredient”,  is the calories. YES, that’s right, “vegan” and “gluten free” does not equate to low calorie – waistlines beware!

So, I have a few go-to swaps when I want dessert without the guilt. They may not all be “whole food” or “clean eating”, but they do allow you to indulge without blowing a days worth of calories on a little dessert!

You can use some of these tricks to make any dessert recipe lighter! And, for a bunch of ideas on some of my “guilt-free” desserts, you can join the Fit Strong and Sexy community to access my proprietary and constantly updated Recipe Book and “Food Rules” 🙂

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peak of one of my latest new recipes…

My friends and I had so much fun, we actually made it a girls night of baking with all the neighbors!
