Busy Girl Who Wants it ALL Workout

It wasn’t that long ago that I expressed my strong feelings about the ‘B-word’ in this post: What Being too Busy Really Means

While my feelings have not changed, the meaning of that statement has. For those who know me, I no longer even use the “B” word. I hate it– it’s a crutch. It’s actually a joke because we are all busy. Yep, each and everyone one of us.

Busy isn’t an excuse. It’s Reality.

It comes down to your perspective about what’s important. It is easy to be ‘too busy to work out’ if you don’t see the importance. You may ‘think’ you are choosing work, your relationships, etc, in place of exercise, but that’s where you need to shift your attitude.

We all have 24 hours in a day, and if you make your health and fitness a priority, you will find that all of these areas of your life will improve.

YES – taking that half hour break from the office to get in a good sweat session will actually give you more energy and make you more productive!
That’s the key; it should be a positive part of your life, not take over your life. You need to find what works for you, and erase the mythical thoughts that a good workout takes a lot of time.

This week, I created this’ busy person workout’, so whenever an excuse comes creeping into your head, make this your go to, those few minutes will be much better spent doing this:

The Workout

Perform 2-3 rounds of the circuit below and let me know when you’re done how long it took you HERE!

30 Moving Twisters (resistance band)
30 Resisted punches (15 each side)
10 Side Knees
20 Inner Thigh Lifts (on each side)
30 Boat Toe Touches
20 Tricep Dips
10 Star Jumps
