For many people the hardest part of exercising is just getting started. Hectic schedules and lack of time certainly contribute to the excuses. But for many people, the overwhelming amount of conflicting information out there can easily prevent you knowing what to do or where to begin.

Virtually every day the media is bombarding the public with the latest “diet and weight-loss research” often times contradicting what may have been reported just weeks earlier. And infomercials swear that 20 minutes of this or 15 minutes of that is all that is required to look like a Hollywood star.

With so much information (and misinformation), it can be hard to decipher what fitness regimen will really deliver results.

Truthfully, even if you are a consistent exerciser, unless you are an elite athlete in training, very few people are exercising and eating in a way that maximizes their results most efficiently.

There are few things more frustrating than busting your body and brains trying to exercise right, eat right and not have the results to show for it. Trust me, it’s NOT your genes keeping you stuck, it’s not doing the right things for those ‘genes’.
