Who is Kim?

She does this through coaching, speaking, mentoring and consulting. Kim is the #1 best selling author of “Getting Your Life to a Ten +”, co-author of 12 books, a multiple award winning inspirational TEDX speaker, life and business coach, hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner, columnist and TV host. Kim has shared stages with greats; Brian Tracy, Darren Hardy, Chris Widener, Dennis Waitley,  Laurel Langemeier,  Niurka and more.  Kim has been a co-host of the global variety talk show, “Samira’s Show, which airs to over 150 million people in Asia, Europe, Canada, United States, and Iran, she has had her own “Getting Your Life to a Ten +” web series with the Hallmark channel’s Spirit Clips speaker series.  Kim hosts and leads regular events and workshops, is a keynote speaker, leads business success mastermind groups, and has a Ten+ life coaching certification program. Kim works closely with Kyle Wilson, (founder of Jim Rohn International, Jim’s 18 year partner, and who has worked with Jack Canfield, Og Mandino, Zig Zigler and more) with Lessons From Network as a contributor, event host and speaker, and has a course called “Ten Weeks to Confidence”

Kim has been super happily married for over 14 years and has 2 beautiful daughters Nia and Noella. She enjoys public speaking, traveling the world, reading, yoga (practiced over 10 years), vintage shopping, event planning and meeting new people.

Kim was once asked to rate her life happiness and fulfillment between one and ten, and she honestly replied “a ten”plus, which is just one of the reasons she genuinely feels she can help others get to a ten plus also.

1. What does your morning routine look like?

My morning routine is to have a little coffee and check emails, and then do yoga, Pilates or a workout. 

2. Are you a morning bird, or night owl? 

Morning bird!

3. What’s your go-to healthy breakfast?

Vegan Protein shake w kale, fruits, ginger and cayenne.

4. Name one thing you are insecure about.

I was insecure about my body after  my second baby, and overcame it by getting back in shape and eating well.

5. What is your proudest Achievement?

Having my two daughters

6.  What does a typical day of eating look like for you?

Typical meal; I am strict vegan ( vegetarian 30 years, and vegan 20 of those years) Protein shake in the morning, a kale salad and tofu for lunch, a kind bar and a juice as snack and soup with rice for dinner. Love to add red wine in there too! 

7. Can you give us one idea for adding 5 minutes of exercise into your normal day?

A quick work out would be five minutes of plank exercises 

8. What is your ‘go-to’ workout when short on time?

My go to work out is the punching bag and the elliptical 

9. Who inspires you, and why?

Prince was a huge inspiration to me for his creativity, mentoring others, charity work and unapologetic being himself. 

10.  What’s your biggest piece of advice for someone who’s trying to jump into a healthy lifestyle?

Make small changes at first, celebrate every success. Start with a twenty min work out and protein shake in the morning. A few weeks later, go to a 35 min work out and also add a juice.
