I had always thought of people in their 30’s as ‘real adults’, and well, old, and now I’m …. 30!

Well I have to say my perspective has changed….first of all look at the incredible women role models out there, rather than looking at age as a number that goes with your physical appearance, I have begun to see age as a collection of experience. The older a person is, the more of the world they’ve seen, the more experience and perspective they have, and with that they become more interesting.

PLUS, when it comes to how you look and feel, it is 2015, we are living longer than ever, and through proper health and exercise you can be in the best shape of your life much longer! Heck, one of my ‘cycling partners’ is 73, I kid you not! Although if you met him, you’d be shocked!

That being said: I’m beyond excited and proud to be turning 30!

Ladies, let’s be serious, teen years can be tough – you are unsure of yourself, the twenties you are working to figure out what ‘it’ is that you are going to do with your life, but 30’s – well this is when you get to ROAR!

This 30-30 BLASTER is the workout I’ve created to start this new decade off like a firework! JOIN ME!!

What To Do

Take a stopwatch or interval timer or and do each of the 5 exercises mentioned below for 30 seconds each, with 30 seconds of prisoner squats as ‘active but still working’ recovery. Once, you do all 5 exercises you complete one circuit. You have to do a total of 3 circuits.

This is 15 STRAIGHT minutes of intense, body shocking cardio, strength and plyometrics with the exact ratio to force your body to change intensities, directions and blast all your systems in the best possible way!
 
The Workout

  • Barrier Hops
  • Prisoner Squats
  • Star Jumps
  • Prisoner Squats
  • Reverse Lunges to Front Kick
  • Prisoner Squats
  • Reverse Lunges to Front Kick
  • Prisoner Squats
  • Jump-Overs (use bench or step)
  • Prisoner Squats

 
*Complete 3 Times total with 30-60 second recovery between rounds.
