Yummy Protein Waffle Recipe

I love waffles and this protein recipe comes from Chicago-based Fitness Coach and Nutritionist, Andrea Wise (check her out), this has become my go-to favorite for breakfast or dinner!

Ingredients:

1/4 C almond milk
1/2 scoop sun warrior protein (or protein of choice)
1 whole egg or 2 egg whites
1/2 smashed banana
2 TBL gluten free oats (or oats of your choice)
vanilla and cinnamon to taste

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until batter forms.
2. Preheat your waffle maker and spray with coconut oil or nonstick spray when hot.
3. Pour batter in sprayed waffle maker (make sure you do not overfill the waffle maker) 4. Cook until golden brown

Enjoy! If you want to make it extra incredible – I love adding a tablespoon of almond butter, the other 1/2 of the banana sliced up, and a tablespoon of real maple syrup.
